Local Outreach

Laundry Love – Free laundry service is provided on a first come, first serve basis at Cedardale Laundry on the third Monday of every month from 4:30-6:30pm.

Global Ministry Partners:

Pastor Bob Mankaka – Pastor Bob is originally from the Republic of Congo but currently resides in Rochester, MN.  In addition to pastoring his own church, every Saturday night at approximately 3am, Pastor Bob preaches live into the Congo via cell phone.  Hundreds of people come to saving faith in Jesus Christ through his preaching.

Pastor Enrique Estrada – We have the joy of supporting Pastor Enrique and other Lutheran pastors in Mexico through an organization called Mission Mexico who supplements their salary and ministry expenses.  As Mexico is primarily rooted in Catholicism, we appreciate being able to be a part of bringing Lutheran theology to those who need to hear and respond to the transforming power of the Gospel.

Spiritual Orphans Network- Pastor Siimon Haamer from Estonia is a third generation pastor in Estonia working to bring the gospel of Jesus Christ to a country that is less than 7% Christian as a result of communist indoctrination during 50+ years of Russian occupation.  First Lutheran is partnering with SON to conduct an English Speaking Bible Camp for Estonians who are seeking to improve their English skills using that Bible as a text book and therefore learning about Jesus at the same time. sonetwork.org
